Meridian, ID

Destination: The Farmstead / Location: Meridian, Idaho / Cost: $7.95 weekday, $10.95 weekend

The Farmstead in Meridian, Idaho is incredible. Idaho is known for its beautiful farmland and fall harvests, and the Farmstead has been around since 1997. It's one of Boise's most popular pumpkin patches located just off the Eagle exit. The Farmstead is run by a family and offers all kinds of activities including hayrides to the pumpkin patch where you can hand select your jack-o-lantern right from the vine and a corn maze for both kids and adults (it's hard too, check that thing out dude! ^^^ We were lost pretty quick but found some good short cuts!)

We had SO much fun at the Farmstead this year, and are so glad we went! There are stands throughout the farm with kettle corn, hot cocoa, hot dogs, and other carnival snacks and items for purchase. Farmstead also has farm animals like goats, pigs and llamas and other furry friends that'll keep kids awfully entertained. It's the perfect place to come with children because there's so much to do and see, but if you're like us and 25 but still wanna act like a 12 year old during the holidays, it's the perfect place to get your childish holiday wiggles out. #definitelyworthit!

  1. Oh fun! I'm from Pocatello, I will have to check it out next time I am up there!

  2. That looks so fun! We don't have any of those fun fall outing options here in NYC, but I loved going to corn mazes and pumpkin patches when I was younger in Minnesota. Lovely photos, as always!

  3. SUPER weird! My band had a gig there Halloween night, so I got in free. So interesting to see Idaho on the world wide web.
