TASTY TUESDAY

Wanna make some last minute Halloween treats? I found some delicious and easy peesy recipes! You just need a few simple ingredients.
First treat: the cutest acorns you'll ever see.

Grab some Hersheys chocolate kisses and Nutter Butter mini cookies and smoosh the two together with some extra peanut butter. Perfect bite size snack for your Halloween party!
 Second treat: homemade Twix anyone?

You will need long pretzel sticks, baking chocolate or melted chocolate chips, caramel, and sprinkles! Dip the pretzel in the caramel and then the chocolate and let is sit until the chocolate hardens. If you buy caramel candies, soften them in the microwave for about ten seconds and wrap them around the pretzel. Then when you dip them in the chocolate, it makes a beautiful rippled pattern that makes them look real fancy pantsy.
Third treat: caramel apples-duh.

Just get your favorite apples and a bag of caramel bits. Melt the caramel in the microwave mixed with a little bit of milk for a minute or two, and dip the apples in it while warm. Add some fun sprinkles if you'd like. Or oreos. Or nuts. Or nerds. Any candy will do, really.

Don't forget to try pumpkin chocolate chip cookies if you haven't yet! Aren't holidays the best? I love any excuse to eat lots of treats. Too bad we're too old for trick or treating.
